Role Objective

This dual-focused role is essential to the development and progression of our therapists, who are the ambassadors of our brand. The spa operation is the very essence of Champneys, making this position a crucial part of our team. In a landscape of constant evolution and development, maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge in your specialist area is vital to support your team and ensure the highest standards are met.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

50% Training:

- Provide comprehensive training to all therapists.

- Research, identify, develop, and train in new treatments to establish Champneys as a brand leader.

- Collaborate with the Head of Training to support business development.

- Identify training needs within the Spa Department.

- Provide regular reports to the Head of Training.

- Attend regular training meetings.

- Share knowledge, help colleagues, and promote good staff morale, respect, and support.

- Ensure brand standards are consistently met across the group.

- Set an example for all team members.

50% Treatment Delivery:

- Perform a range of therapeutic, holistic, and beauty treatments to the highest standards.

- Adapt treatments to meet individual client needs.

- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all treatment procedures and products.

- Ensure all team members are properly trained and qualified before performing any treatment or class.

- Assist with administrative tasks as required.

- Communicate regularly with the Head of Training.

Health & Safety

- Ensure all staff members are aware of safety aspects related to their roles.

- Ensure protective clothing is worn when necessary.

- Maintain knowledge of all Fire, Health, and Safety Procedures, ensuring the team is also knowledgeable.

Knowledge and Understanding

- Comprehensive understanding of treatment procedures and products.

- Knowledge of team members' skills and training areas for effective work allocation.

- Awareness of Fire, Health, and Safety Procedures.

This role involves 50% training and 50% performing treatments. Successful candidates must be able to travel and stay away if required. A Level 3 beauty qualification and training experience are essential.
