If you answered “yes” to all the above then being part of our expanding School Aged Immunisation Team could be the right opportunity for you. We are looking for a pro-active, motivated individual to join the School Aged Immunisation team as Immunisation Team Administrator. This post will focus on increasing uptake of vaccinations through the use of text messaging, emails and making telephone contacts with parents/carers who have not responded to previous communications. Although this is the main focus of the role there may be a requirement to attend schools and support vaccination sessions if required. The post is on a term time only basis, working four or five days a week and can be based at any of our 4 bases across the county, Oxford City, Abingdon, Witney or Banbury. Your role will be to support the School Aged Immunisation team in increasing the uptake of vaccinations by contacting parent/carers to submit a Consent Form. The successful applicant will have strong IT skills especially in the use of excel. They will be required to identify children with outstanding vaccinations who do not have an active consent form submitted and contact the parent/carer to request a Consent Form is provided, either accepting or refusing the vaccination. This is a busy role with the service delivering over 89,000 vaccinations a year and so flexibility, attention to detail and strong IT skills are all essential requirements. Experience in handling sensitive information and a knowledge of GDPR principles would be advantageous as would a current driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
