About the Role
Park Lane Surgery in Broxbourne is looking to recruit a scanner/coder/workflow administrator to work within our admin team on a part-time basis, with the days and times to be discussed further at interview, to provide clinical administrative support to our medical team. The main duties include:
- Scanning and coding clinical documents accurately and within a 48-hour timescale.
- Forwarding clinical documents to clinicians following practice protocol.
- Carrying out clinical document follow-up actions, following practice protocol.
- Responsibility for allocating QOF clinical indicators and achieving targets for the practice.
About the Candidate
The skills & qualities we are looking for to fulfil this role include:
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to a high standard and at a fast pace.
- Ability to manage your own workload, but have the support of the coding QOF team and line manager.
- A team player, flexible and able to cover when team members are on annual leave or unwell.
- Experience in clinical coding/QOF/SystmOne clinical system would be preferred, although we welcome applications from candidates with NHS or primary care experience in similar roles.
