We are currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor & Administrator to carry out essential internal audit.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our production sites are the core of our business, and not only do they keep our business running, but they feed the UK every day. Auditors provide essential work to ensure the site meets the correct standards. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Audit completion against the defined schedule with relevant evidence of compliance
- Export Certification, P2D updates, and working with Vet to achieve export authorisation
- Practical Factory Standards and Hygiene Audits
- Auditing of customer COPs & auditing standards
- Communicating, logging, and issuing of non-conformances (NC) raised to relevant parties
- Supporting NC closure and subsequent verification
- Escalating food safety and legality issues identified during the audit process
- Leading and coordinating a paperless system of working
ABOUT YOU:
If you're fanatical about food, thrive under pressure, and have the can-do spirit that's created our success. Bring those qualities, with the following and you will have the recipe for success:
· Intermediate HACCP and Food Safety qualifications
· Recognised Internal Auditing qualification
· Experience in food manufacturing
· Experience with 2nd and 3rd party standard requirements
· Detailed knowledge of GMP and SOPs
· Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety legislation
· Understanding of export health certification requirements
· Good communication skills and attention to detail
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
