At JoJo we're on the lookout for a Commercial Finance Manager, a role where you can work with our teams to help drive ahead with our financial strategy and growth plans. Reporting to our CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and support strategic decision-making throughout JoJo. You'll provide commercial insight, lead financial planning and analysis, and support our JoJo leadership team in delivering profitable growth. A peek into your daily adventures:: Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to produce high quality targets across multiple channels.
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to project future business performance.
Business Partnering:
- Acting as a strategic partner to our leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Collaborating with various departments including E-commerce, retail, B2B and merchandising to drive financial performance.
- Providing financial support & analysis for new business initiatives and expansion plans.
Performance Management:
- Developing dashboards and reporting with our Data team to monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implementing and managing performance tracking systems to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Supporting with production of monthly management accounts and board packs, providing commercial insight and analysis on trading performance.
Cost Control & Efficiency:
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Conducting margin analysis and recommending pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
- Supporting with management of working capital and optimising cash flow.
Investment Appraisal:
- Production of financial analysis to support investment decision making and business cases (return on investment, payback, etc).
- Assessing financial risks associated with investments and recommending mitigation strategies.
A glimpse into JoJo's background: We were acquired by Davidson Kempner and Next in April 2022 and transitioned onto the Next ‘Total Platform' operating model in May 2023. This model has enabled us to leverage the operational efficiencies of Next, primarily through logistics and technology hosting, while enabling growth through access to the Next customer base. We're excited to be expanding our B2B relationships in the UK and overseas through partnerships with other major retailers. Revenue c.£65m

Skills that make you shine::
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent (essential).
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role (essential), operating within omni-channel retail.
- Advanced Excel skills (essential).
- Knowledge of SQL (desirable).
- Experience with ERP systems e.g., Microsoft Navision, SAP (desirable).
- Ability to think strategically with a proactive approach to problem-finding and solving, with a focus on continuous improvement / development.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including experience of building integrated financial planning models.
- A hands-on attitude and unwavering attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including track record in presenting at senior management/board level.
- Proficiency in building effective relationships, collaborating, persuading, challenging and influencing across all levels.
- Ability to work independently and confidence to make decisions.
- Ability to create and present high-quality documentation & management information.
- Adaptable and resilient in a changing, agile environment.
