What you'll be doing

To hit our financial targets, we will support and deliver various cross functional initiatives to provide competitive prices and customer centric products, customer journeys and services. We will do this in line with all legislation and regulation and make sure when things do go wrong, we have sleek processes to identify and resolve at pace and minimise customer and commercial impact. You will be using your pricing and underwriting skills and experience to help us achieve the financial targets. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring performance against plan

• Deep dive activity in relation to performance anomalies

• Propose and deliver tactical changes to drive value or mitigate risk to plan

• Support in delivering On Demand Price Optimisation

• Support financial planning process

• Support in delivering Pricing and cross functional Initiatives

• Make sure all deliverables are well governed and have all relevant controls in place

• Support in upskilling the junior members of the team and establishing pricing best practices in the team.

What we are looking for

We are keen to meet enthusiastic, passionate, and curious individuals who can collaborate effectively across several teams and team members. They should also have

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for problem solving

• Ability to communicate complex information in a simple way

• Understanding of the components of a customer price

• Understanding of key legislation and regulation applying to motor insurance and how this impacts the way in which we can price

• Experience working in retail pricing or similar

• Ideally, experience of Radar, or alternative pricing software

• Ideally, Experience of data manipulation using languages, such as SQL or Python.
