About the role:

  • Carry out outbound B2B telesales to identify named individuals within target companies and identify if they have a need for a parcel courier in order to make appointments for the Sales Executives
  • Build rapport with prospects in order to build a bank of strong qualified leads
  • Contact and follow up on early stage leads to secure meetings for the Sales Executives
  • Carry out proactive online research to identify suitable businesses and contacts for prospecting, email and direct marketing
  • Maintain and update information on CRM system
  • Be a brand ambassador for DHL

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within a sales and marketing environment, ideally business to business
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to converse at all levels
  • Self-sufficient and proactive
  • Target driven - number of calls, conversions, appointments made etc.
  • Attention to detail and experience of using CRM systems
  • Previous telesales experience preferred
