Business Development Project Lead x 2
Salary: c£45,500 per annum.
Location: Remote.
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
In this exciting new role reporting to the Head of Business Development you will manage delivering business development projects/activities to enable Action for Children's growth ambitions, expected business outcomes and benefits to be managed through a solution focused and task-oriented approach.
The post will galvanise people resources through a matrix management structure, applying a collaborative and an engaging approach with key stakeholders and business critical managers utilising project management methodologies.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
- Providing a range of outcomes/outputs on targeted business development activities, working to Bid Managers and the Director of Business Development.
- Establishing and maintain highly positive and engaging relationships, both internally and externally.
- Analysing data and contributing to the identification of potential solutions to issues and if necessary, to draft business cases for investment to these potential solutions.
- Working across the Business Development and Children's Services directorate to deliver measurable growth in income.
- Producing timely and relevant reports for the key stakeholders and the relevant change board.
- Identifying and building partnerships in target urban areas with other providers and/or community partners to deliver winning solutions and bids through proactive account management with key customers that will lead to an increase to our black, Asian minority ethnic headcount.
- Directing and motivating Project Team members (directly or through a matrix management structure).
Let's talk about you
- Experience of working within Children's Services environment.
- Operating successfully to deliver and lead projects outcomes in a range of environments including with commissioners, particularly within urban areas.
- Demonstrable knowledge and application of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion expertise within business development and the wider organisation.
- Managing senior stakeholder meetings i.e., chair and contribute at meetings (both internal and external).
- Managing the submission of tenders and nurturing new business opportunities.
- Producing reports using a range of data sources to present to stakeholders.
- Excellent written and communicative skills.
