The Role: As Employee Relations Manager, you will lead a newly formed team of Employee Relations Advisors and provide a high quality end-to-end Employee Relations (ER) service for the business. This role will be home based with regular travel to sites and offices required. What You Will Be Doing:
  • Leading a team of ER Advisors to provide a first class, consistent ER service to the business resulting in the early resolution of issues, risk reduction and improved employee engagement
  • Supporting development and driving delivery of the new Employee Relations strategy to support the overall People strategy and Ramsay Health Care UK strategy
  • Embedding and overseeing the use of the HR case management functionality in Workday, ensuring that all relevant transactions are recorded in real time and are accurate
  • Gathering, analysing, and interpreting data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement
  • Developing programs, policies, and procedures to promote fair employee relations and business decisions
  • Escalation point for complex ER cases and tracking themes across the ER team to drive consistency across RHCUK.
  • Upskilling ER management capabilities across the business by designing, facilitating and supporting the ER team to deliver high quality development programmes
  • Overseeing company wide application of ER policies and procedures.
  • Managing Early Conciliation, Employment Tribunal claims and settlements in collaboration with People Partners and the legal team.
  • Working with the ER team to continuously improve and evolve the service in line with business needs.
What You Will Bring: Strong experience within a multi-site organisation in either a varied HR Generalist position, including ER, or an ER specialist role including developing and driving strategy. You will also be able to demonstrate leadership skills, having managed a team previously. While not essential, experience within the healthcare sector would be beneficial. Benefits:
