Job Responsibility:

Do you have experience of working with young people aged 11 - 18? We are looking for a well-organised Cover Supervisor with a positive “can-do” attitude to provide cover for lessons as and when required. You will have responsibility for supervising lessons when the usual class teacher is absent at KS3 and KS4, with some work at KS5, as well as the opportunity to contribute more widely across the Academy.

This is a permanent position working for 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only.

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.

You will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum enrichment activities.
• Supervise the students, KS3, KS4 and occasional KS5, working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
• Be caring and supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
• Want to make a difference to our students and foster excellent relationships.
• have a belief that every young person, whatever their starting point or circumstances, can achieve exceptional things.
• Promote the well-being of our student's providing guidance and support and be able to inspire learning and progress.
