Job Responsibility:

OverviewWe are seeking a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at The Eagle Lodge in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our venue which includes Oregano Restaurant & our 4 function suites. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our guests.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming in all public areas as required
• Ensuring toilets are cleaned to the highest standard
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs
• Empty bins and remove waste to designated areas
• Restock cleaning supplies
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions from supervisors

Requirements

• English is not necessarily required, however you need to be able to understand instructions and communicate effectively
• Ability to drive may be advantageous for certain locations as early starts may be required
• Customer service skills to interact with colleagues and visitors
• Strong communication skills to report any maintenance or safety issues efficiently
• Good physical fitness is required for this role
• Exception attention to details & the ability to work proactively
• Excellent time management of your own time, ability to prioritise & organise your work plan according to business needs at all times
• Reliable and trustworthy individual as key holder duties will be required after passed probation.

Schedule

We can guarantee the successful candidate no less than 8 hours per week over 2 days - Monday & Sunday with the occasional Saturday also being required as business demands. Work hours are flexible, however generally between 7am - 12 Noon.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
