Chef

Duties:- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to assure smooth operation- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant's standards- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Experience:- Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant setting (Ideally Fish & Chips Restaurant)- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Attention to detail- Ability to motivate a team of kitchen staff

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
