About The Role

Are you an experienced Coordinator looking for a new challenge within a growing organisation that makes a real difference to peoples lives? If so, read on.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance team as a Coordinator based at our office in Exeter. As a Coordinator within the Insurance team you will provide an essential service to colleagues and customers alike: keeping accurate financial and claims records, proactively coordinate buildings insurance claims, work closely with colleagues and loss adjusters, administratively support liability claims across our entire geographical area.

We aim to get our customers back into their homes as quickly as possible following an insurable event to minimise disruption to their lives and this is the lead goal for a Coordinator within the Insurance team. You will work with many colleagues across all walks of the business as well as liaising with external stakeholders and as such we want you to bring your ability to build a rapport with people and your skills to effectively coordinate across a widely dispersed team.

Insurance experience would be advantageous but is not completely necessary for the right candidate. There will be a requirement for the successful individual to become familiar with our policies and appropriate training will be provided.

This role is being offered on a part time, permanent basis working 22.2 hours a week and will be based in our Exeter office. About The Candidate

To be a successful Coordinator you should:

  • Be self-motivated and able to use own initiative to support the business.
  • Be resilient and able to work under pressure.
  • Have competent IT skills, including experience of MS Office and be adaptable to internal systems.
  • Be a confident communicator, with the ability to liaise with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Experience of effective record keeping.
  • Insurance experience. (D)
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy.
  • CII Foundation Insurance Test.(D)
The above criteria are considered essential unless indicated as desirable - (D).
