Based at: Civic Office/Hybrid Salary details: Grade 10, £44,401 - £48,356 (pay award pending) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week, Full Time Closing date: 1st September 2024. You have a opportunity to be part of this in the role of Finance Transactions Manager. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join the Corporate Resources Directorate at the Council as the Finance Transactions Manager. We are looking for someone to manage the Purchase Management, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for the council and our partners. You will have a particular focus on understanding and maximising the performance of our vital transactional processing functions to ensure our supplier invoices are paid promptly and our customer payments due to the council are successfully recovered. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding and experience of purchase ordering, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. With a proven ability of utilising systems to enhance performance and achieve service improvement/efficiencies. Someone who can build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the council and deliver professional advice on financial procedures. You will be responsible for our experienced transactional processing teams that have a wealth of knowledge and positive can-do attitudes.
