PRIVATE BANKING ASSOCIATE
Are you looking to step into the world of Private Banking? Do you have a passion to develop and build client relationships? Are you looking to grow and develop in a business that will invest in you?
We are currently looking for Private Banking Associate to join us a on a full time, permanent basis in our office in London. You will work as part of the Private Banking team assisting our Private Bankers to develop client relationships. While we operate on a Monday to Friday, 09:30 -18:00 basis, we offer hybrid working, meaning you can manage your time between the office and working from home (three days in the office, two remotely).

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Liaise with clients, communicating the current proposition and product offering, executing their instructions to an exemplary standard.
- Develop relationships with Private Banking clients to understand their potential banking needs.
- Set up all types of new client accounts and account administration, including client transfers, debit card ordering and maintenance, excess reporting.
- Monitor lending deals to ensure the relevant and appropriate security is in place, including the management of bad and doubtful debts.
- Instigate debt recovery activities and coordinate with appointed officers.
- Prepare credit applications and appropriate lending and security documents.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- We know most adverts say this, but it really is important that you have excellent communication skills as you will be the first point of contact for our clients.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Client or customer facing experience is essential in this role, you will be dealing with our clients over the phone and email on a day-to-day basis.
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel will be needed to undertake this role.
- Previous experience within banking would be advantageous.
