About the Role
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the School Management Support Team as a School Management Research and Enterprise Administrator, within the School of Animal Rural and Environmental Sciences (ARES), based at our Brackenhurst campus.
We are seeking a proactive individual with relevant experience of working in a busy administrative environment. The suitable applicant will support designated senior members of the School, notably the Associate Dean for Research, through comprehensive administrative assistance. There will be a focus on research and commercial enterprise administration, thus excellent stakeholder engagement is essential. The successful individual will be able to work independently, taking the lead on vital School processes, as well as part of a team and possess excellent organisation and communication skills. Extensive experience of using IT systems to improve processes, together with a proficient working knowledge of MS Office, especially Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel, is required. Thorough minute taking skills are also crucial.
This is a part time role that provides the opportunity for a hybrid working environment, with a mixture of on-campus and working from home days.
The post-holder will have a positive, can-do attitude, and the drive to provide exceptional assistance to senior members of the School. They will be confidential, able to prioritise their tasks, and remain professional at all times.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
