Alexandra House Residential & Dementia Care Home are currently recruiting Domestic Assistants. Job Type: Permanent | Basis: Full Time or Part Time | Flexible Hours per Week. Our typical shift times are from 09:00 to 14:00, and working alternate weekends is essential! We have 58 available Domestic Hours at the moment. Alexandra House offers great flexibility in how these hours can be arranged. We can provide either Full Time or Part Time positions for the right candidates. Please Note: We're only accepting applications from candidates who are currently living withing a 10-mile radius of the Care Home. (CO12 3JY)
About the Role As a Domestic Assistant at MHA, your main duty will be to ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and tidy according to the schedule, helping to uphold the required standards. You will assist in keeping residents' rooms, bathrooms, offices, and shared spaces neat, including carpet cleaning as directed by management. It's important that you use and care for all cleaning equipment properly, storing it safely and in a clean state, while also following MHA's Health and Safety Policy.
About You The significance of possessing the right values, attitude, and behaviours outweighs the importance of one's previous career background. While having prior experience in caregiving is desirable, it is not a necessity. We are committed to providing all the necessary training and support to help you succeed in this role. No qualifications are required to start as a Domestic Assistant; however, experience is desirable.
