About the role

AXA Global Healthcare are going through an exciting period of transformation and with our employees being a significant part of this growth, we now have an exciting fixed term contract opportunity available for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team during this period of significant organisational transformation. As an HR Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the company through this transition by providing expert guidance and HR support.

This position will initially be for a 4 month period with the potential to extend up to 6 months.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work part of your week away from home at our Tunbridge Wells office.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the Senior HRBP on the people aspects relating to the business transformation working closely with other UK and Global People Teams
  • Act as co-ordinator for the internal employee satisfaction surveys including producing a regular overview of completion rates and summary of results
  • Provide day to day operational support, advice and guidance to the business on HR policies, processes & procedures, signposting as required to other internal teams.
  • Act as representative for AGH within communities such as AXA UK wellbeing and Inclusion
  • Act as the co-ordinator for the AXA Global healthcare UK gender pay gap report
  • Co-ordinate the Senior Manager & Conduct Regime compliance obligations
  • Act as key interface between AGH UK employees and AXA People Services to ensure a good employee experience
  • Produce regular MI reporting and insights as required

About you

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant professional certificate such as Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
  • Proven experience of working as an HR Consultant operating within an HR Centre of Excellence model
  • Strong knowledge of technical people processes
  • Experience of managing organisational departmental restructures
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to listen, seek feedback, provide insight and communicate a clear vision
  • Appreciation of cultural nuances and regulatory environments
  • Organisational skills such as personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • A good working knowledge of employment law and experience of employee relations
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the AGH and people communities

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
