Job Responsibility:
Westfield Medical is a leading UK manufacturer of sterilisation barrier systems and we are currently looking to recruit a Human Resources & Finance Administrator.
Human Resources & Finance Administrator
This role is varied and will support both the HR Manager and the Finance Team. The role will focus on administration and deal with managers and employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both HR and Finance, have strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills and have the ability to interact with employees of all levels.
HR Responsibilities and duties
· Maintain all HR records, enter new employee information and any HR data changes onto the local and Group HR systems
· Assist with the recruitment of staff, advertising roles and managing applications, as well as liaising with hiring managers and note-taking at interviews
· Monitor and update Right to Work information
· Deal with the administration of onboarding new employees, issuing offer letters, contracts of employment and organising induction programmes
· Check driving licenses annually and for new starters
· Daily check of employee hours from clock in reports, checking hours worked and amending hours where necessary
· Obtaining and collating weekly overtime forms along with sickness, entering data onto monthly payroll spreadsheet, working within the payroll procedure deadlines
· Add new starters to and delete leavers from the payroll spreadsheet keeping this up to date in line with the payroll periods and making payroll notes on a daily/weekly basis
· Monitor probation periods and diarise reviews with managers
· Organise both internal and external training for the business and record on the company training matrix
· Maintain sickness absence log, issue sickness return-to-work forms to relevant managers and log returns, then run monthly absence reports
· Create monthly newsletters from the Employee Assistance Programme provider
· Keep up to date with latest employment law legislation
· Organise lunches, provide refreshments and book hotels for visitors
Finance Responsibilities and duties
· Scanning of AP invoices and GRN's against posted invoice
· Deal with supplier queries
· Setup new suppliers on the ERP system
· Posting Cash Receipts and Bank Payments (holiday cover)
· Booking in Goods Received (holiday cover)
· Complete the monthly payroll spreadsheet with the information required and send to the payroll provider, ensuring the deadline is met for payment
· Ad hoc general administration duties to support the HR and Finance office

Location: Midsomer Norton, Somerset
