Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team within any of our North West offices who will be responsible for leading the client delivery for our Paraplanning Teams across various locations through the Client Administration and Paraplanner Team Leaders, ensuring that all client requests and reports are dealt to a high-quality standard.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in managing advisors and client facing teams to drive the performance of regional teams, key to the role will be strong stakeholder management and fostering internal mobility and a positive culture.

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the wider Client Delivery Team to drive client service and positive client outcome
  • Promote a service excellence mind-set throughout the teams, identifying and owning strategies to improve quality of service and productivity whilst driving down the operational cost to serve.
  • Oversight and analysis of monthly activities using PowerBI reporting to manage the business activities and project initiatives.
  • Responsible for recruitment within the locations, in line with national standards as well as developing a succession plan and managing career progression.
  • Define, implement and manage performance against targets and objectives, ensuring that Client Delivery & Financial Planning service levels are established and continually reviewed and challenged.
  • Oversight of the implementation and maintenance of the Paraplanning T&C Scheme and MIFid requirement in the region ensuring standards are met.
  • Encourage and facilitate technical and career development interventions and manage employee performance through effective coaching and development techniques, utilising support from HR and Learning & Development as required.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong Leadership Skills with experience of leading and motivating large Admin and Paraplanning teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services environment (products, technology, legislation, regulation)
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • An aptitude for engaging with clients and colleagues to identify improvement opportunities, investigating, and following through on problems to a successful resolution
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills including able to confidently prepare and deliver professionally written reports and presentations internally and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to adapt to changing priorities with strong time management skills and a positive outlook
