Membership Lead Opportunity at West London's Premier Luxury Wellness Club

Are you passionate about fitness, wellbeing, and delivering an exceptional client experience? We're on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Membership Lead to join an incredible team at a luxury wellness provider in the heart of West London.

  • Salary:£40,000 + OTE
  • Incentive/Commission: Yes
  • Working Hours: 42 hours per week.
  • Leave: 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays).

As Membership Lead, you won't just be another team member - you'll be a key player in driving the growth and success of the club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Retention & Acquisition: Spearhead the retention of our valued clients while onboarding new members, ensuring seamless transitions and outstanding experiences.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with our Management and training teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.
  • Strategic Sales Execution: Drive the sales process with finesse, leveraging your deep understanding of the luxury market and your proven sales expertise, ideally in the fitness or wellness industry.
  • Brand Ambassador: As the face of our membership experience, you'll embody our brand values, delivering a first-class journey for all prospective members and nurturing relationships with existing clients.

Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the high-end fitness and wellness market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to continuously refine sales strategies.
  • Pipeline Management - collaborate with the Marketing and Management Team to review, assess and categorise potential new Member leads and nurture existing leads using the CRM platform.
  • Process Optimisation - identify and implement ways to improve the leads process (e.g.volume of leads, conversion %).

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Develop personalised sales approaches for high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and other key demographics.
  • Handle high-profile client interactions with discretion and professionalism.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Implement and manage sales tools and CRM systems to track performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and personal training teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Represent the Club at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Alongside the necessary credentials, enthusiasm, drive and entrepreneurial ambition are a part of your personality. You need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with potential and existing clients, senior management, contractors, and junior staff.

We are looking for the following:

  • Proven Sales Experience - a track record of delivering and over-achieving against targets. You'll be used to nurturing, negotiating and closing deals. This could include B2B or B2C.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Commercial Acumen - ability to understand potential Member goals and motivations for joining the Club and adapt your sales style to close them. Staying on top of the pipeline to ensure you maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Self Motivated & Resilient - comfortable with being flexible and adapting when things change. A natural problem solver and doer. Organised and proactive, everyone knows that you have a handle on everything. Not fazed by rejection, you see it as a learning opportunity.
  • Great Communication Skills - able to rapidly build a rapport with members and explain the Club's, value proposition. Strong verbal and written skills, preferably in a professional environment.
  • A Dependable Team Player - collaborative and able to contribute to the overall success of the Member sales team, whilst operating with integrity, clarity and passion.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market and high-net-worth client expectations.
  • Process Excellence - you'll have a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to optimise your approach to Member sales and pipeline management. You'll look at sales insights (e.g conversion %'s) and troubleshoot problems to identify areas where you can get better. You'll support the development of Sales Operations roadmap (e.g. system and process enhancements or features).
  • Ability to Multitask - excellent time management skills, super organised and able to juggle multiple contacts and negotiations at the same time. You'll do all this with rigour and an attention to detail.
