Your Opportunity:
As a Library Services Technical Co-Ordinator based in the UK, your primary responsibility will be to provide library workflow solutions designed to increase library efficiency, support the generation and maintenance of both customer e-book and print book purchases and other opportunities, and build customer loyalty. Support the European Operational, Technical and Customer Service teams in setting up and troubleshooting any customer based technical issues.
Is this role remote: Dependent on Candidate- Could be remote or Hybrid if successful candidate is close to our Didcot office in the UK
Contract Type: 12-18-month fixed term contract
What You'll do
- Provide Technical support to libraries through ongoing review of their workflows
- Support with Library management systems integration
- Support management in controlling the profitable set-up and onboarding of customers by closely evaluating shipping cycles, volumes, publisher portfolios and other profitability drivers
- Provide product support through development of new or improved products and services by remaining current on industry trends and competitors
- Evaluate workflow solutions to increase library efficiency where our services can help address customer needs
- Work closely with colleagues to provide customer product training and demonstrations
About You
- Able to work well in a team as well as independently
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, intermediate level in Excel
- Excellent Communication skills both verbally and written
- Excellent at building and maintaining customer relationships
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and resolve problems
- Works well under pressure and to deadlines
What sets you apart
- Previous experience in a similar role preferable (librarian, library management, technical services)
- Good understanding of library management systems is desirable
- Strong work ethic with desire to achieve and maintain high standards
- Ability to grasp in-house systems quickly
- Second language is beneficial (French, Spanish, Italian or German)
