We are looking for a Payroll & HR Coordinator to join our team and take charge of our monthly payroll operations. Whether you have extensive experience in payroll administration or are ready to bring your payroll skills to a new level, we want to hear from you!

As the Payroll & HR Coordinator you'll be responsible for processing payroll efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all deadlines are met. Working closely with our HR team, you will coordinate payroll changes, manage employee benefits, and maintain up-to-date records. Your role will be central to maintaining compliance with company policies and enhancing the employee experience through continuous process improvements. Additionally, you'll support the HR function by producing and analyzing data to inform business decisions, assisting with insurance claims, and contributing to a range of HR projects.

  • Oversee and manage full payroll processing, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate payroll changes, including new starters, variations, and leavers, in collaboration with HR.
  • Process statutory and financial compensations, deductions, and benefits (e.g., pensions, employee benefits).
  • Maintain and update payroll, HR, and HMRC records in real time.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll queries.
  • Manage employee benefits, including car allocations and renewal of vehicles.
  • Continuously improve, automate, and digitize Payroll and HR processes.
  • Support accurate processing of digital timesheets and coordinate data checks for accuracy.
  • Administer cyclical processes like P11d submissions and pension requirements.
  • Analyze HR data to support informed business decisions.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or a similar role with payroll attributes
  • CIPP qualification (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of Payroll systems (Sage Payroll and PeopleHR would be advantageous)
  • Highly IT proficient, particularly Excel and equivalent platforms
  • Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll processing
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate via email, phone and messaging.
  • Excellent attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality

Although this position is full-time, we are open to considering part-time candidates who meet the required qualifications
