We have an exciting, opportunity for a passionate professional qualified Retail Vocational Assessor to join our business. You will support our vision to deliver high quality work-based qualifications to help our candidates achieve their Modern Apprenticeships.

The area we need covered is Dundee, Perth & Fife

You will need to have experience of delivering in a similar role and hold an assessor qualification, D32/33, A1 or L&D9I

About the role

You will be:

* Visiting individuals in their work place every 4-6 weeks. You will use your vocational experience and knowledge to support learners to achieve their Modern Apprenticeship by carrying out assessments, and giving guidance to help learners achieve

* Managing your own diary to ensure you are keeping candidates on target arranging and attending scheduled visits and completing company administration

* Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional service to candidates and employers whilst maintaining standards and regulatory requirements

* Marketing for further business and bringing in at least 2 new starts per month

* Managing the E-Portfolio; experience of the OneFile System is preferred but not necessary

About you

We are looking for:

* Current and relevant vocational experience in Retail and or Warehousing

* Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines

* Quality driven, excellent attention to detail and with a reputation for going the ‘extra mile' for your learners

* A confident, engaging professional, you will be able to inspire and motivate people on a group and individual level

* An outstanding communicator who is able to effectively organise and prioritise their workload

* you should own your own car and have business insurance

* You should have a knowledge of what a freelance position involves, however, please ask if unsure
