About the roleIn your role as Market Data Administrator, Part time you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.This role will provide a great opportunity to play a vital role in managing market data systems, supporting compliance efforts, and providing exceptional support to users and IT staff.IMS Market Data and Third-Party Systems function looks after the relationships with USSIM's data suppliers. Reporting to the COO line, the team is responsible for central budget management and license managements across market data and third-party services utilised by users across the organisation.Market Data Administrator will work with all lines of business in Front Office and Operations, for both public and private markets as well as group functions like legal, finance, compliance and purchase ledger.What you will be doingAs a trusted part of the Operations you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining an inventory of market data and third-party applications
  • Managing daily user requests for additions, changes and deletion of access to external services
  • Conducting regular audits of market data permissions and usage
  • Handling permissions and access control for market data and third-party systems using tools like Bloomberg Admin portal
  • Supporting the Market Data Lead with overseeing market data license management with vendors
  • Managing market data cost allocations and invoices on finance and control systems
  • Resolving invoicing queries, liaising with the finance team
  • Ensuring adherence to organisational policies and processes
  • Participating in market data and applications audits
  • Assisting in risk assessments for market data and third-party applications

  • Experience with Market Data and/or financial markets
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work collaboratively and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to read the market data contracts and understand the principle aspects of the contract scope
  • Understanding of market data compliance requirements and regulations
  • Experience with industry related systems: MDM, Proactis, SharePoint, Confluence
  • Familiarity with vendor portals eg. RIMES and Bloomberg Admin portal
