Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity
The Business Development Manager - Key Accounts is a new instrumental role within in our Mortgage new business acquisition and service proposition structure. Working remotely and based in the region, the role provides face to face contact with a panel of Aldermore's key strategic firms within the London and South East are of the UK. This duties of hits role are enhanced compared to that of a traditional business development role in that ongoing account management, senior level reporting, working partnerships at national account level and greater level of analytical skills are required.
What will your day look like?
- Maximize the potential of the region to achieve the required levels of new business as a key element of the overall performance KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with the National Account teams to unearth greater opportunity across the region whilst supporting and encouraging the Telephony BDE for the region to provide a coordinated and quality service for the brokers
- Work to a segmented approach that is balanced so that have a tighter review and activity strategy with the accounts of focus whilst also achieving activity and financial target goals
- Develop, maintain and implement an effective contact strategy for your Key Accounts within the area.
- Own, maintain and where possible grow Aldermore's market share with regional platinum broker distribution, to help achieve strategic objectives.
What do we expect from you?
- Previous experience and knowledge of the UK intermediary mortgage market, with a successful track record of business to business sales experience with key distribution firms/distributors.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK's Specialist Lending mortgage market, including (but not limited to) Specialist BTL, complex incomes, adverse, self-employed, contractors, high net worth, first time buyers, new build.
- Relationship building and account management skills, with the ability to deal with exec level individuals
- Advanced negotiation and communication skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders, to include platform presentations, discussion panels, plenary sessions, virtual webinars, round table events, working groups, industry trade bodies, board level execs.
