Job Responsibility:
OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the market landscape and have experience in utilising software tools such as Salesforce to enhance sales processes.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies that align with business goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Utilise Salesforce for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales performance.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress towards business development goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a related industry.
- Strong understanding of software tools, particularly Salesforce, for managing sales processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively in identifying new market opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
