Accounting Advisory Manager/Senior Manager

As a Manager or Senior Manager in our Accounting Advisory team, this role offers the chance to lead and oversee technical accounting projects and advisory services, focusing on supporting high-growth clients across a range of industries. Working closely with diverse businesses and internal teams, you will provide tailored accounting support to meet clients' evolving needs, whether on a project basis or through ongoing advisory services. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering insights, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and driving financial excellence. This role offers a broad spectrum of experiences and challenges, offering valuable exposure to various industries and complex accounting scenarios.

How you will make a difference

You will play a critical role in delivering expert accounting advisory services to high-growth clients, ensuring they navigate complex technical accounting standards and achieve compliance. Acting as the lead contact for a diverse client portfolio, you'll provide strategic insights, helping clients align their accounting practices with regulatory requirements and business objectives. By guiding both senior leaders and junior team members in technical best practices, you will drive impactful outcomes on key projects, ensuring that accounting processes are robust, efficient, and supportive of sustainable growth.

You will:

  • /Prepare annual consolidated and statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • /Develop annual, interim, and special-purpose financial statements for listed companies and businesses preparing for a listing.
  • /Conduct IFRS conversion impact assessments and produce conversion schedules to support client transitions.
  • /Implement new accounting standards and amendments for IFRS and UK GAAP, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • /Create detailed technical accounting assessments and memos, offering clear insights into complex accounting issues.
  • /Compile and present management packs for Board review, highlighting key financial insights.
  • /Oversee cash flow and working capital management, including the development of financial models to guide strategic planning.
  • /Design, prepare, and manage consolidated business forecasts to support clients' growth and strategic objectives.
  • /Support clients throughout the audit process, ensuring smooth and efficient completion.

You will be ideal for this role if:

  • /You are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • /You have practical experience applying IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards.
  • /You bring a background in technical accounting-focused roles, or you are eager to deepen your expertise in this area.
  • /You are proficient in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and have strong skills in accounting software.
  • /You have a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborating effectively.
  • /You possess hands-on accounting experience with the capability to manage audit and compliance activities seamlessly.
  • /Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • /You demonstrate strong project management abilities, managing tasks efficiently and delivering results on time.
  • /You are flexible, quick to learn, and able to adapt readily to change.
  • /You have a strategic mindset complemented by a keen eye for detail, enabling you to tackle detailed technical accounting challenges with precision.
