Job Description We're looking for a dedicated Benefits Advisor to join our dynamic Benefits and Compensation Advisory team. In this pivotal role, you'll specialise in benefits advisory across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Africa (UKIA), as well as the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will play a vital part in delivering an outstanding employee experience through effective benefits administration and strategic advisory support. This role will work in the Newcastle office 3 days a week and 2 from home. What You'll Be Doing
  • Act as a subject matter expert for regional benefits in UKIA and APAC, ensuring compliance, consistency, and high-quality support.
  • Provide responsive, expert guidance to colleagues and managers, addressing benefits-related queries with accuracy and empathy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, especially the Centre of Expertise (CoE), to align with global strategies and local needs.
  • Support efforts to standardise processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency across all benefits-related services.
  • Collaborate with global Benefits Partners to stay informed on all activities within your remit and support local and global initiatives.
  • You'll record, and document colleague interactions via internal Service Now ticketing system and ensure responses are consistent and aligned to internal policy and
  • Key Responsibilities Key skills and experience
  • Proven experience working within a people function, demonstrating a strong understanding of employee needs and organisational dynamics.
  • Knowledge of reward and benefits principles, with the ability to apply this expertise effectively.
  • Prior experience using Darwin (or similar HR/payroll systems) is highly desirable.
  • Be empathetic, with the confidence to navigate sensitive or challenging conversations with colleagues.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal teams and external vendors.
