Made Profiles Ltd is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our expanding team!

Job type:

· Full time, with a permanent position becoming available after the probationary period.

· Daytime hours; Monday 08.00 – 17.00 Friday 08.00 – 14.30

Job Summary:

We are ideally looking for a candidate who already has experience using a CNC machine, we may consider candidates that do not have this but please see our other posting for a Trainee CNC machine operator as this may be more suitable for those with no CNC experience.

As a CNC machine operator at Made Profiles you could be potentially be operating a plasma, laser, flame or waterjet machine. Alongside operating the machine, you will be expected to compile customer orders and organise stock.

You will be working in an industrial environment; all necessary clothing and PPE will be supplied.

The CNC Operator will be expected to follow all safety rules and regulations, and adhere to company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operates machines using our in-house nests and drawings.
• Excellent time keeping is a must!
• Set up and operate machines to a high standard.
• Inform management of any issues.
• Perform quality control checks on all products.
• Use measuring devices such as micrometres/verniers to verify accuracy of measurements.
• Use of hand tools
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Be confident at working independently whilst also able to work effectively as part of a team on a variety of different machines.
• Ability to work accurately and methodically whilst maintaining a clean and tidy work space.

Experience Requirements:

Experience required on any of the following machines:

• CNC Plasma
• CNC Flame
• Co2 Laser
• Fiber Laser
• Waterjet
• Press brake
• Rollers

If you’ve not got experience on all of the machines any training can be given in house.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
