We are seeking an experienced Exams Access Arrangements Assessor to join a dynamic Secondary Academy in Southwark. In this role, you will lead the assessment and coordination of exam access arrangements for students with SEND at KS4 and KS5, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
The Role
- Oversee exam access arrangements for students with SEND in KS4 and Sixth Form.
- To address the needs of students - managing organisation, time, deadlines, and barriers to learning.
- Work closely with the SENCO and Exams team to implement effective exam procedures.
- Provide 1:1 support for students with additional needs, including ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and exam-related anxiety.
- Contribute to Safety Plans, event coordination, data tracking, and wider SEN support across the school.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN, such as ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and exam-related anxiety and you will work closely with the exams team to arrange the correct exam access for students.
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- An Exam Access Arrangements qualification or experience
- Experience in assessing and supporting learners with SEND, tracking progress, and improving outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess learner progress and provide effective feedback.
- A background in secondary education is preferred.
