OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator with an interest in Sen to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the diverse needs of children.
• Oversee the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEND.
• Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
• Conduct assessments and create individualised education plans
• Provide training and support to staff on SEND issues
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children can thrive.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
• Lead activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s development and learning outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with other educators to enhance the overall quality of care and education.

Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and development.
• Capability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment within the nursery.
• A passion for Sen with a recognised qualification or the desire to aquire one.
