We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our academy, to support pupils with SEND and to ensure that every child succeeds.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide particular support for identified pupil(s) with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils' work
  • Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
  • Establish constructive relationships with parents/carers

Pay range:

SCP5-7 £19,151.63 - £19,765.04 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £24,790 - £25,584)

32.5 hours per week & 45.861 weeks per year

Fixed term contract - 31.08.2025

Qualifications and Skills:

  • TA2 Qualification or equivalent
  • Maths & English GCSE Grades A-C (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Awareness of SEND and safeguarding processes
  • Good interpersonal skills
