The Company

Garment Graphixs Ltd are an industry leading Embroidery and print company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We supply all kinds of Protective Clothing, workwear and PPE to a huge range of companies in the UK and Ireland. We have been established in the industry for over 25 years, with a large trade and retail store in Duncrue industrial estate.

The Role

We are looking for a Printing Production operative to work in our Printing room. You would be responsible for making up orders of clothing, ensuring they are correct, printing the company logo onto the clothing in various positions using different methods of printing. The Candidate would also assist in other roles, such as deliveries and collections and assisting other departments where needed.

Tasks would include the following.

· Checking off production work sheets to ensure clothing orders are correctly made up.

· Preparing printing materials using a digital cutter.

· Cutting, weeding and arranging logos for print onto the garments.

· Applying Logos to Clothing and PPE garments using various automatic and manual heat presses.

· General maintenance of the equipment in the print room.

· Filling in for other departments would be required.

· Checking goods in, making up orders, despatch orders and deliveries.

Full training will be provided.

Essential Skills and Experience

Keen eye for detail - all applied logos must be straight in specific positions.

Consistency is key when producing branded clothing.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Well presented with a proactive approach to work.

Good communication skills.

Positive attitude.

Desire to learn new technologies and skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

IT competent

Graphic Design Experience with packages such as CorelDRAW, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Previous Experience in this industry would be a bonus.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have 4 or more GCSE's Grade C or above.

Clean full UK Driving License.

Details

Hours of work - 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
