Job Responsibility:
If you currently hold a Level 2 Early Years Diploma or have a minimum of 12 months Early Years experience and would like a role where you make a difference to the development of children every day, then we have an exciting Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship opportunity for you.
Brighter Horizons Training are an apprenticeship training provider working with The Little Blue Door who have exciting opportunities in their new setting for those that want to study and work in childcare as an apprentice.
They will support and encourage training and development opportunities, whether that means growing within your current role or taking on additional responsibilities.
You will be part of an energetic and enthusiastic team who deliver high quality care and education for their children and deliver the care, learning and play of the children in such a way that they are well cared for and safe.
You will be;
- Working to support children through play in their learning and development.
- Working with parents and families to support them.
- Working as part of a team to develop and maintain an exciting and inspiring learning environment for the children to support them to achieve their learning objectives and lay foundations for them to to become successful as they move onwards from nursery into the big wide world.
- Helping out the classroom and supporting the room leader
- Safeguarding the children
To be successful, you will have a natural affinity with children, be warm, engaging and enthusiastic to make them feel at home. You will also have good communication skills, be reliable, self-motivated and professional. You will ideally have a good understanding of the very best of Early Years principles and how to successfully and creatively apply them to provide the very best standard of care. Training will be offered to support apprentices to move through their next level of qualification.
The ideal candidates will have either achieved their Level 2 Diploma/apprenticeship in Early Years and be looking to complete their L3 early years apprenticeship .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
