Job Description :

Working hours: 47.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Location: Redhill, Surrey

At The Hoist People we cover a large geographical area from our base in Redhill, Surrey, providing our hoist hire services in London and its home counties. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experience, including prompt servicing and repairs of our hoists on site.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Technician to join our team and further their career in the hoisting industry.

As part of your daily duties, you will become the primary person to attend site breakdowns. You will also work in the workshop, checking, servicing and maintaining hoists returned from hire. You will prepare hoists for hire following a check sheet and carrying out the necessary tests.

You will thrive on working in a fast-paced and demanding environment and be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be physically fit to carry out regular manual lifting.

Full training and a formal qualification route will be provided. Previous, extensive electrical experience is essential.
