Brighouse Pharmacy is a fast-growing, independent pharmacy located in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. At Brighouse Pharmacy, we take pride in delivering outstanding service to our patients and being a trusted part of the local community. This is your chance to join a dedicated, professional, and friendly team focused on improving health and wellbeing. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy dispenser/technician to support our growing Dosette delivery Service. This vital role involves preparing weekly blister packs for patients who require help managing multiple medications. You’ll work as part of our friendly dispensary team, ensuring each pack is accurate, safe, and prepared to a high standard—contributing directly to patient health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare dosette (blister) packs according to patient prescriptions
  • Organise medications into weekly packs, divided by day and dosage time (morning, afternoon, evening, night)
  • Double-check medication names, strengths, and timings to ensure correct dispensing
  • Liaise with pharmacists to resolve any queries or discrepancies before preparation
  • Manage stock rotation and check expiry dates to ensure safe medication supply
  • Maintain a clean and organised preparation area in accordance with pharmacy SOPs
  • Support with ordering repeat prescriptions and liaising with GP practices as needed
  • Prepare packs for free home delivery and ensure timely dispatch
  • Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times

Working Pattern:

  • Monday: Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm ( NO WEEKENDS)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services is desirable
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
  • Confident telephone and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection

Pay: £11.44-£13.00 per hour
