The Opportunity

Here at Primal Strength, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Service Engineer. As a member of the Operations team, the Service Engineers support the build, repair and refurbishment of Primal’s premium product.

A ‘hands on’ individual with a ‘right first time’ mentality, experienced in working in a warehouse environment with a background/interest in mechanical engineering.

Based at the Primal warehouse in Paisley but expected at various times to travel locally to carry out servicing, and assist with installations, and/or the extraction of gym equipment.

The Role

· Responsibility for day-to-day gym equipment build, repair and refurbishment.

o Assembly and disassembly of gym equipment.

o Cleaning, testing, and palletising of products.

o Replacing mechanical parts where necessary.

o Manually lifting and moving heavy gym equipment

o Ability to use hand and power tools.

· General warehousing duties, as required.

· Ensure all company Health and Safety policies are adhered to.

· Promoting Primal Strength as an employer of choice.

· Continuously seeks and suggests process improvement to increase efficiency and quality of service operations.

· Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and able to prioritise tasks.

Skills & Knowledge

· 3 years’ experience in warehouse/engineering roles.

· Knowledge of gym equipment or repairing fitness equipment preferred.

· Mechanical engineering background preferred.

· Ability to operate a forklift truck preferred.

· Driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
