Location: Exeter Central. Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Are you a driven finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Part-Qualified/finalist Management Accountant to join a growing finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and decision-making support across the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a PQ Management Accountant, you'll work closely with senior finance staff and departmental managers to help deliver robust financial planning and performance analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment with study support and upwards progression provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis

· Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Produce financial reports for internal stakeholders

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support year-end audit preparation

· Identify process improvements and support implementation of new systems and controls

· Business partnering with non-financial teams to explain financial data

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

· Part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with at least 2-3 years' relevant experience

· Strong Excel skills; experience with financial systems (sage preferred)

· Commercially aware, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines

· A proactive and collaborative mindset
