Job Description : Responsible for the accurate coding of all medical documents - sending relevant actions to the clinicians and filing. Responding to routine inquiriesfrom patients, practice staff and external agencies via telephone, email, letters, etc Liaising with external service providers and agencies as required. Accurate and timely updating of information in patients' records Accurate and timely processing of all tasks Accurate and timely processing of emails Patient referrals: Completion of additional forms required, ie funding, etc. Processing referrals via Choose & Book and email Processing of Two Week Rule referrals within the designated timescales and liaising with patients on a timely basis Accurate coding of referrals Timely communication of service responses to clinicians regarding referrals Timely and accurate processing of correspondence, including Document Inbox Work safely and securely in accordance with the Practice Policy and Procedures at all times ensuring existing information systems, equipment and the work area are utilised in line with health and safety requirements.
