We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in providing exceptional cleanliness and service within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the care home or hospitality industry, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are impeccably presented and that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residents rooms, public areas, and community spaces, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitised.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for ongoing operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that all items are cleaned and returned in a timely manner.
• Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a care home or hospitality sector is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude towards work.
