We are a fashion charity company based in Newham seeking a keen and focused fashion teacher to join our team. The environment in which the successful applicant will be working in fast-paced, team-focused, and hardworking, graduated with a degree and previous experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring internal teaching staff giving feedback to assessments and approving course briefs are fir for purpose. This is a great opportunity for someone with ambition and drive.

Responsibilities include

• Assessing the work of candidates

• Measuring their competency against relevant standards

• Mark and grade the work of an agreed number of Workplace Assessors

• He/she will update and maintain all required written documentation in line with the Options for Independence Training Centres Policies and Procedures.

The successful motivated and professional applicant must have:

• At least 2 years' teaching experience

• Team player with cultural awareness and interpersonal skills - able to engage and to work effectively

• A positive attitude with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines

• Excellent customer care skills

• Able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements

• Good communication skills

Requirements:

• A Degree in Fashion, PGCE and industry knowledge

Salary: £32,600 per anum pro rota

Freelance contract

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
