Do you have yard/warehouse experience?

Do you have a counterbalance forklift license?

We’re on the hunt for a Warehouse Assistant to join the team in Frazer – Erith, who are as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: 7am- 5pm Monday to Friday

Location: Frazer, Church Trading Estate, Slade Green Rd, Erith DA8 2JA

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions
• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous construction material industry experience is preferred
• Warehouse or Yard Experience
• Counter Balance Forklift Licence/previous experience
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
• Strong communication skills
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors
• A health and safety focus
• Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
