As a Locum Dental Nurse, you should be willing to travel to different location, covering staff shortages due to holidays and sick days within different practices.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols.
• Manage the sterilisation of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to facilitate smooth operations within the practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the dental field.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is essential with GDC registry, we welcome applications from those looking to start their career in Locum Dental Nursing.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
• A genuine passion for patient care, with a genuine interest in learning different skills from different practice teams.
