Heathfield Knoll School are seeking an experienced and well-qualified visiting teacher of Piano and Singing to join our established team. We are a small but growing co-ed independent day school taking students from 3 months to 19 years of age and the Music Department is housed in a purpose built space that opened in . It would be advantageous for candidates to be able to teach up to and beyond Grade 8 in both disciplines, and important that applicants are comfortable with teaching young beginners as well as older and more advanced students and music scholars. Experience of teaching neurodiverse students is also an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in both singing and piano and able to take on an immediate student list equalling 2.5-3 days per week of work. They will have a proven track record of excellent teaching and successful examinations with the main exam boards, including ABRSM. It is vital for our visiting teachers to have excellent communication skills and be committed and enthusiastic team members who strive for excellence and are willing to support the school's pupils and the Director of Music in concerts and performances. All visiting teachers at Heathfield Knoll School are self-employed and invoice in advance for lessons. We reserve the right to appoint ahead of the closing date.

Pay: £35.00-£41.00 per hour
