Who You Are You are a responsible, hands-on individual with exceptional leadership skills and expertise in compliance. You hold a NEBOSH Diploma and you are knowledgeable about statutory duties, obligations, and official standards. You are well-acquainted with best practices related to Gas Servicing, Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical, and other key mechanical services. You are committed to ensuring the safety of colleagues, contractors, and residents and compliance with health & safety legislation and landlord & tenant law relating to asset management. What the Job Involves This position involves managing the compliance agenda for the organisation, ensuring that all obligations are met. This includes acting as the lead representative in matters of statutory compliance and helping colleagues establish and maintain safe working practices. You will advise senior management on health and safety legislation, conduct audits and inspections, and lead health and safety training. You will also provide guidance, review health & safety documentation, deal with inquiries, and carry out health, safety and compliance audits. There is a big emphasis on fostering a team spirit and working together towards common goals. The role also involves supporting with budgeting activities and leading the assets compliance team on a day-to-day basis. Remote or hybrid working is an option for this role.
