We recommend, if interested, that colleagues submit their application as early as possible to avoid disappointment.You and Your Team: Join our Marketing team as a Content Associate, reporting directly to the Brand Manager. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the design and delivery of content for our end-to-end customer journeys. Your responsibilities will include making sure all content goes through the complete design process, including testing and iteration, before release. You will be involved in writing, creating and modifying content such as web pages, product launches, articles, blog posts, and customer emails. In this role, you will also produce and deliver content assets across various media, making copywriting an essential part of your duties - so you'll need to be confident writing and editing copy, with creative flair and a critical eye. Become an integral part of our team and help shape the content that drives our brand forward. In your day-to-day role as a Content Associate you will:
  • Plan, write, review and edit content, making sure it's engaging, ‘on-brand' with the appropriate tone of voice and used in the best place and format.
  • Start from discovery using your initiative to research and design appropriate content recommendations and implement agreed solutions. Ensuring customers will see, read and understand our content.
  • Continuously test and learn on content to demonstrate improved customer and commercial results.
  • Make sure content is managed with the appropriate levels of control, governance and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Support the development of the Vanquis content strategy, content plan and implementation while coordinating input from a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Work in collaboration with Digital, Marketing, Customer and Commercial to undertake and lead projects that improve the design, usability and functionality of content across the user experience.
What will make you stand out? The ideal candidate will have experience of designing and maintaining content as part of the overall experience design across multiple channels.
  • You'll have good experience of content creation and Content Management Systems (such as Umbraco).
  • You'll be confident writing and editing copy - with a strong grasp of grammar and effective writing techniques.
  • You'll be able to find new ways to communicate with audiences which enhance understanding and engagement.
  • You'll manage content creation, development, approval and distribution.
  • Working with the wider team and business you'll be able to effectively manage your stakeholder relationships and help disrupt the way of thinking within the organisation.
