Job Responsibility:

Michies, our Detroit Style Pizza Restaurant opened recently, nestled within Europe's largest purpose-built food hall. We're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals with a knack for pizza-making or a genuine love for food to join our team!

Roles: Part-time and Full-time

Requirements:

• Experience in pizza-making, baking, or food preparation is preferred but not essential - a passion for food and a willingness to learn are just as valuable!
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is essential to accommodate our bustling food hall environment.
• Ability to manage your own time effectively, working well within a team but also independently when necessary.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and efficiency during peak hours.
• Commitment to upholding hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

Duties Include:

• Frying ingredients as needed for pizza toppings.
• Preparing and making dough according to established recipes and standards.
• Cooking sauces and preparing toppings to ensure high-quality pizza ingredients.
• Managing and correctly storing deliveries to maintain freshness and safety standards.
• Reporting stock levels to the head chef to ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
• Engaging in all aspects of food preparation, including slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and utensils.

Pay: £8.47-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
