As the Sales Manager you'll report to the Head of Operations within the Customer Service Group. Your role will focus on delivering key initiatives that will ensure sales, customer and engagement performance continues to outperform expectations across the Partners we work with. Your strong organisational skills will allow you to work across multiple, concurrent performance and efficiency initiatives, and you will have the skills to course correct if required.

You will build strong relationships with our Partner and In-House teams, and will be seen as a ‘go to' person. You will have a background in sales management, with great knowledge and awareness of the levers that improve results. Your attention to detail and previous experience of working in a strategic role will ensure that you are able to deliver value add initiatives that support the multiple needs of people, customers & the business.

What you'll do:

  • Lead strategic growth plans across the Sales channels.
  • Creating a Sky customer culture in an outsourced environment whilst developing a strong partnership and respecting the commercial responsibilities of the partner.
  • Ensuring that the operational process is strength based to enhance and improve better customer experience.
  • Support implementation of the sales strategy.
  • Creating and implementing site-based performance strategies ensuring resource and budget forecasts are met.
  • Drive the performance of the site by inspiring and challenging people to deliver great performance across all metrics.
  • Through your example, demonstrate the Sky Values and Sky Leadership behaviours so that you influence the behaviour of others.
  • Think outside the box to create and influence ways of working that deliver excellence for our people, business and customers.
  • Communicate and present insight, ideas and opportunities to stakeholders, Partners and Senior Leaders
  • Ability to analyse and interpret opportunities and risks and adjust approach accordingly

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in partner & inhouse management and preferably during a period of growth.
  • Proven experience in leading sizeable teams operating extended days, 365 days a year in a Contact Centre environment
  • Proven ability to motivate, empower, coach and develop.
  • Experience in delivering change and improvement projects.
  • Understanding how to raise capability within a team and build a sustainable platform for continued improvement.
  • Knowledge and understanding of contact centre KPI's and cost models with demonstrable experience of managing towards.
  • You will be someone who is self-motivated and proactive individual, who takes ownership and takes responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of the work they produce as well as the wider team.
  • You will be someone who is driven and wants growth within their role.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
