We are seeking a Product Management Leader who will help deliver our vision for Talent and product analytics for our Assessment and Succession solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our innovative Assessment and Succession solutions and analytics capabilities and managing a team of product managers responsible for executing on the vision, strategy and roadmap priorities.

You will also be involved in researching customer problems, validating product ideas, prioritizing features, writing user stories, testing prototypes, launching products, and measuring outcomes. You will be the voice of the customer and the champion of the product within the organization.

You will partner with commercial teams, solution consultants, external vendors, product managers, data science, data engineers, architects, and engineers to contribute to the overall success of the team's roadmap and initiatives. This position reports to the Vice President, Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape Vision and Strategic Direction: Shape the vision for our innovative Assessment and Succession solutions and accompanying analytics capabilities. Collaborate closely with other business functions to comprehend needs and translate them into appropriate application functionality.
  • Drive Product Strategy and Innovation: Provide guiding vision of product line strategy and roadmaps, identifying key business opportunities and analyzing market research to define the competitive landscape and drive innovation.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers responsible for executing and delivering on the strategy outlined for success.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Uncover customer pain points and identify market opportunities through direct and indirect interaction with customers, prospects, go-to-market leaders, and analysts.
  • Business Case Development: Develop robust business cases and seek approval for funding from senior leadership to support product initiatives and innovations.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships and relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and go-to-market teams to drive product growth potential and future innovation opportunities.
  • Scaled Solution Development: Collaborate with vertical business leaders and go-to-market teams to create, launch, and scale packaged solutions for our market-leading customers, enhancing their end-user experiences.
  • AI Integration: Identify and explore opportunities to adopt Artificial Intelligence to drive better user outcomes, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with decentralized agile development teams to deliver products, engage in technical conversations, weigh technology choices, and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of product capability throughout the product lifecycle, from definition to sunset, while evaluating and reporting on current product line performance and usage.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Lead the post-implementation support effort from a functional and training perspective, ensuring seamless transitions and continued product success.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Innovative Thinker: Creative problem solver and innovator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: At least 8 - 10 years of experience in product management, product management leadership, or adjacent roles; proven design and delivery record for cloud solutions; data products experience.
  • Industry Familiarity: Familiarity with Talent Management / HCM / Assessment / Analytics / Talent Marketplace solution companies and their offerings.
  • Technical Background: Technical acumen with an understanding and hands-on experience in software development.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong experience in conducting market research, customer feedback, user testing, and data analysis to drive product improvements and innovations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations and business goals.
  • Partnerships: Experience working with technology partners and vendors.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in using agile methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor product development cycles.
  • Metrics-Driven: Demonstrated experience in launching and evaluating products using various metrics and KPIs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to convey product vision, strategy, and value proposition effectively.
  • Adaptability: Strong organizational skills, ability to learn quickly, and willingness to collaborate with highly distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Growth Mindset: Growth/metrics orientation with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving acumen.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
